Wir erinnern uns alle noch mit Schrecken an den 4. April 2017 – damals wurde WooCommerce 3.0 veröffentlicht. Denn dann begann das Übel mit dem viele Shopbetreiber zu kämpfen hatten. Jetzt vor 2 Tage wurde die neueste WooCommerce Version 3.1 veröffentlicht. Diesmal ging es nicht mehr nur darum die Fehler von 3.x zu flicken, sondern es gab wieder ein paar Neuerungen.

Wie man unten gut sehen kann, gab es viele Änderungen

Die besten Veränderungen sind?

Also zuerst einmal fällt einem sofort auf, dass es neu einen Importer und Exporter gibt und zwar auf der Basis von CSV. Man kann das CSV sehr einfach selbst einstellen und dann loslegen. Eine wirklich coole saubere Sache, denn jetzt brauch ich kein zusätzliches Plugin mehr die diese Arbeit für mich macht.

Eine andere coole Funktion gibts für „Terms and Conditions“ – nach dem Checkout muss man ja meistens noch die AGB usw akzeptieren, da gabs jetzt auch eine geniale Veränderung. Und jetzt muss man nicht mehr eine neue Seite öffnen damit man diese Infos angezeigt bekommt, sondern kann es gleich Inline durchscrollen.

Was mir persönlich wirklich gefällt ist, man kann nun den Lagerzuerstand eines Variablen Produkts mit 1 Klick anpassen. Man kann eine gewisse Anzahl Produkte einsetzen oder komplett auf Ausverkauft setzen. Eine sehr coole Sache – früher musste man das Einzeln machen – das hat mir bei meinem eigenem Haarprodukte.Shop immer wieder für graue Haar gesorgt 🙂

Das sind die geilsten Updates die man sofort sieht, sonst gibts noch ein paar Änderungen beim Wizard wo man WooCommerce einstellen kann (oEmbed usw).

Ich habe keine Probleme mit der neuen WooCommerce Version gesehen. Wie immer gilt bei einem Update auch hier – zuerst ein komplettes Backup machen und dann loslegen 🙂
